Today is my birthday.
I'm 34.
I remember my mom being 34. I thought that that was old.
What age is defined middle age? Is it 35? Or is it 45?

I'm 348 days older and wiser than you so I can say without a doubt that 35 is not middle age, 45 is. When I'm about to turn 45 the answer will magically change to 50.
